NEWS: Jan 2012 - the song "Lady With a Plan" from the "Shanghai Shuffle" CD has recently been re-released as part of a compilation entitled "ABSOLUTE NY BLUES" by an Australian company, Valleyarm for distribution internationally.

NEWS: Jan 2012 - on 1/31 Bob will be recording a one hour interview/music show on Gotham Radio (gothramradio.com) for the program Neir's Music Spotlight, hosted by Chris Piccione.  Further details to come regarding online access to the program.

NEWS: Sept 2010 - Rhys Chatham CD - A Crimson Grail - released 9/14/2010 on Nonesuch Records- August 8, 2009 live performance at Lincoln Center Out of Doors series - 200 electric guitars, 16 basses, 5 conductors, one percussionist.

NEWS:  May 2010 - After several months off as the result of a back injury I am now back at work.  Recording sessions are under way for several projects, including a new solo CD to follow-up "Shanghai Shuffle".   In addition,  I have begun appearing live again both with my own group and as a freelance musician.

NEWS:   August 2009 - Bob will be appearing in the restaging of Rhys Chatham's "A Crimson Grail" for 200 electric guitars on Saturday August 8th as part of the Lincoln Center Out of Doors series at Damrosch Park at 7:30 PM

NEWS:  The "Shanghai Shuffle" CD has been named in the top 100 new CD releases of the past year (#41) by Real Blues Magazine (Canada)

NEWS:  Bob P live on-air radio interview Thursday, 12/4/08 at 9:30 PM EST on 91.3 CBFW-FM, Ontario, Canada with Mike Anderson on the "Bluewater Blues" radio show.  

To date, "Shanghai Shuffle" has aired in 16 countries and over 250 markets including terrestrial AM & FM, web radio, and syndicated Blues programs.

NEWS: 7/24/08:  The song "Gulf Coast Blues" from the solo CD "Shanghai Shuffle" has been awarded Honorable Mention status in the 15th Billboard World Song Contest.  The CD will be available shortly.
